Elections 2021


The Del Rey Neighborhood Council (DRNC) is officially certified by the City of Los Angeles to represent the Del Rey community to City officials and departments.  Members of the DRNC Board are dedicated volunteers who are elected to two-year terms, and all are up for election this year. 

 

Due to public health and safety concerns as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the City Clerk (which is overseeing elections operations) is implementing an all Vote-By-Mail process in 2021.  Details on all 2021 NC Election policies and procedures can be found in the 2021 NC Elections Handbook.  See also For Candidates and For Voters for summaries of these procedures. 

TO VOTE - YOU MUST REQUEST A BALLOT

Below are critical dates.  You can find the full election timeline HERE.

  

  • Candidate Filing Period                       February 06 – March 23rd, 2021

  • Request Ballot to Vote                         April 09 – June 01, 2021

  • Last Day to Mail/Drop Off Ballots     June 08, 2021 

  • Official Results Due                              June 23, 2021 
     

Ballots either can be dropped off at designated locations on Election Day or be postmarked by Election Day.  In either case, you you must request a ballot before then. To do so, see the information in: For Voters.
