2026 Del Rey Earth Day Tree Adoption

Come to the 2026 Del Rey Tree Adoption event on Saturday, April 18, 9am-12pm at Marina Del Rey Middle School! Stop by to pick up some FREE trees for your yard! We're also giving away free mulch, free food, and will have a resource fair. There will also live music from the Del Rey Jazz Band! Arrive early to get the best tree selection. Culver Median Stormwater Capture Project Update

Last July and in response to years of feedback from Del Rey stakeholders about the need to enhance and upgrade the Culver Blvd Median on the LA/Del Rey side, the Del Rey NC in collaboration with Ballona Creek Renaissance (BCR) submitted an application to LA County’s Safe Clean Water Program (SCWP) which utilizes Measure W property tax funds to implement stormwater capture infrastructure projects to capture and clean stormwater while also upgrading surface level features.
