Helpful Skills

No particular experience, education or skills are necessary.  Enthusiasm, creativity, and perspectives will go a long way. Honoring time commitments to the Board is essential. Beyond these qualities, the following skills are helpful:
 

• community organizing and outreach

• land use, transportation, planning

• architecture, design, landscape design

• web design, social media, graphic design

• writing

• event planning

• bookkeeping

• law

• multi-lingual skills (particularly Spanish)
