Clean out your closets and help the LAPD Pacific Division at the same time. The Pacific Area Boosters Association is holding a fundraiser for the LAPD Pacific Division now through April 30th by collecting various items. Pacific will earn $$ for every pound of clothes and shoes collected. Articles need to be in good condition (no stains, no missing buttons or zippers). Your donations are tax-deductible -- a donation letter will be provided upon request.
What they're looking for:
Men's, women's, and children's clothing
Shoes, belts
Bedding, linens, towels
Backpacks, duffel bags, handbags, computer bags
How to donate -- you can place your items in trash bags and drop off at two locations:
LAPD Pacific Division Customer Relations Office trailer anytime; if no one is there, place your bags near the double doors.
MOA Wellness Center (4533 S. Centinela Ave). Gates are open Mon-Fri 8am - 7pm and Sat 8am-5pm. Plastic bags with your items can be left on the blue tarp in the garage floor.
