A homeowner is Area H said: I've noticed in the last 1-2 years a substantial increase of motorcycle traffic. Undoubtedly due to the influx of motorcycle repair and accessories stores that have popped up along Lincoln Blvd in our area. The motorcycles seem to be louder. I would like to try to get people to support noise restrictions as pertains to excessive muffler noises from motorcycles.

A stakeholder asks: Why can't we put funds from(The Quimby fund) in the district G Mar Vista Gardens Recreation and Parks for more youth activities also some park light?

Some items that Stakeholders are concerned about in Del Rey:

A resident of Del Rey asks: I heard a rumor that the residents of Mar Vista Gardens are being relocated to Palmdale and that the facility is being converted to UCLA housing. Is this true? -- Jonathon Neumann, chair of Planning, Land Use and Transportation has not heard this rumor, but has inquired more information from the council office.

A stakeholder is concerned about the lack of care at glen alla park. A large group of friends use these courts regularly. They have replaced the nets themselves for many years and have called on numerous occasions about the courts. The courts need resurfacing. People have fallen more than once and injured themselves. Culver city parks have courts that they take care of. The glen alla courts are used much more often yet they have not been resurfaced since 1983.

A resident of Area A thanks: I think a big thank you goes to the dedicated people behind the CARE 5k Run/Walk. They have spent a lot of time to help the local schools!

A homeowner in Area E says: There are many streets that are in desperate need of repair. However, I am must concerned with the streets that have been damaged by the CalTrans work being done on the 405 Freeway.
